So how do you do it dMp? I used GIMP and set the gap so it looked proper then began painting in the missing colors. I imagine there are many different ways of achieving the same end but I'm wondering how others go about doing the same thing, what their methods are. It's not like there are tutorials about doing stuff like this or removing words from scans. At least I haven't found any. One site I go to is called GIMP Talk. They have tutorials but not for things like this.
